How long does a new swimming pool take?
A straightforward residential pool is often several weeks on site once design, access and municipal requirements are clear. Tight gardens, rock or indoor installs take longer. We confirm a programme after the site visit.
Do you only work in Parklands?
No. Parklands is our base. We cover Table View, Blouberg, the rest of the northern suburbs and all greater Cape Town for builds and service.
What is fibreglass lining used for?
Fibreglass seals a leaking or rough shell and gives a smooth interior that is quicker to brush and vacuum. We patch local damage or reline the whole pool when the old finish has failed.
Can you recover a green pool?
Yes. We vacuum, treat algae, balance the water and get filtration running again. Badly stained or leaking shells may need fibreglass or other repair after the water is clear.
How often should a Cape Town pool be cleaned?
Most homes do well on a weekly visit in summer. Wind and sand on the West Coast can mean more frequent skimming. Winter can drop to a fortnight if the cover stays on and the pump still runs.
What should I prepare for a quote?
The street address, a few photos and whether you want a new pool, a repair or a clean. For new builds, tell us if a digger can reach the garden.
How much does a new swimming pool cost in Cape Town?
Price depends on size, access, finish and equipment. We quote after a site visit and give you a written scope with materials and programme before work starts.
My pool pump is not working — repair or replace?
We inspect the pump, seals, capacitor and plumbing first. Many failures are a repair — worn O-rings, a blocked basket or electrical parts — not a full replacement.
Fibreglass, marblite or plaster — which finish?
It depends on the shell. Fibreglass suits leaking or failed linings. Marblite and plaster work on sound structures. We recommend after inspecting the pool on site.
Do you build new pools and service existing ones?
Yes. We construct new residential pools from scratch and take on repairs, maintenance, cleaning and fibreglass on existing pools across Cape Town.
